Pakistan Tourism, Sports & Family Festival 2026 – A Grand Success in Islamabad

The Pakistan Tourism, Sports & Family Festival 2026, organized by the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC) in collaboration with PTDC and provincial tourism departments, was successfully held on 31 January and 01 February 2026 in Islamabad.

The two-day mega, family-oriented event showcased Pakistan’s tourism potential through vibrant cultural performances, food and family arenas, provincial tourism pavilions, kids’ activities, sports competitions, and adventure attractions including paragliding, hot air balloon displays, marathon, and cycling events. Diplomatic representatives from several countries and thousands of families attended the Festival.

The event concluded with a grand musical concert and fireworks display, leaving a strong message of cultural harmony, sportsmanship, and tourism promotion, and reinforcing Islamabad’s position as a leading family-friendly tourism destination.

Tourism is a focused area of the present government. Several initiatives are being undertaken to garner the potential offered by the tourism industry.
