Pakistan Shines at Bangladesh Travel & Tourism Fair 2025

Pakistan proudly marked its first-ever participation in the Bangladesh Travel & Tourism Fair (BTTF) 2025, held from 30th October to 1st November, highlighting the nation’s commitment to regional tourism collaboration and cultural exchange. PTDC, in coordination with Pakistan’s tourism stakeholders, presented a vibrant pavilion showcasing the country’s diverse landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and world-class hospitality. The pavilion emphasized Pakistan’s new easy online visa policy and strengthened air connectivity between Dhaka and Islamabad, making the country an accessible and attractive destination for travelers from Bangladesh’s middle and high-income segments. The exhibition provided a platform for fostering people-to-people connections, bilateral tourism partnerships, and B2B networking between tour operators, travel agencies, and hospitality providers. Visitors engaged enthusiastically with the displays highlighting adventure tourism, cultural festivals, heritage sites, and culinary experiences. The event reinforced Pakistan’s position as an emerging tourism hub in South Asia while encouraging further collaboration with regional partners. PTDC leadership and supporting stakeholders emphasized continued joint initiatives to develop sustainable tourism flows and enhance cross-border cultural understanding. The fair concluded successfully, leaving a lasting impression on the Bangladeshi public and tourism professionals, and setting the stage for expanded bilateral travel initiatives in the coming years.

Tourism is a focused area of the present government. Several initiatives are being undertaken to garner the potential offered by the tourism industry.
