Pakistan at 30th Tashkent International Tourism Fair (TITF-2025)

2025

Pakistan actively showcased its diverse tourism potential at the 30th Tashkent International Tourism Fair (TITF-2025), held from November 27 to 29, 2025, in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, under the theme “Tourism on the Silk Road.” The prestigious international event brought together tourism boards, tour operators, airlines, hospitality groups, and travel professionals from across the region and beyond, providing a valuable platform for strengthening cross-border tourism cooperation.

The Pakistan delegation, led by Mr. Ahmed Shafiq, Mr. Nasir Hussain, and Mr. Sajid Mehmood Mughal, established a dedicated Pakistan Pavilion at the Tashkent City Stand. The pavilion featured a wide range of promotional materials, including destination brochures, tourism videos, cultural visuals, and interactive displays highlighting Pakistan’s breathtaking natural landscapes, rich cultural and historical heritage, adventure and mountain tourism, religious and heritage routes, and growing hospitality sector.

The Pakistan stall attracted significant interest from international visitors, tourism professionals, media representatives, and industry stakeholders. Visitors showed particular enthusiasm for Pakistan’s adventure tourism offerings, Silk Road heritage sites, mountainous regions, and emerging travel experiences. The pavilion served as an effective hub for B2B networking, facilitating discussions on joint tourism packages, cross-border travel itineraries, and potential collaborations with Central Asian and international tour operators.

Throughout the exhibition, the Pakistan delegation engaged in constructive dialogues with regional tourism authorities and private sector representatives to explore opportunities for enhancing tourism connectivity, promoting Silk Road tourism routes, and encouraging two-way tourist flows. These interactions contributed to strengthening Pakistan’s image as a safe, diverse, and attractive destination for international travelers.

Pakistan’s participation at TITF-2025 underscored the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation’s (PTDC) proactive approach to international tourism promotion and market outreach. The presence at the fair reinforced PTDC’s commitment to positioning Pakistan as a premier tourism destination along the historic Silk Road, while fostering long-term partnerships and regional cooperation within the tourism sector.

The successful participation at TITF-2025 significantly enhanced the visibility of Pakistan’s vibrant tourism offerings among Central Asian audiences and reaffirmed the country’s growing role as a key player in regional and Silk Road tourism initiatives.
